Design Features of Electric High Pressure Gate Valve for Power Plant

1.   The power plant gate valve adopts a pressure seal bonnet or bolted bonnet, which provides trustworthy safety and reliability.

 

2.   The gate valve disc adopts a double wedge with universal joint structure in the middle, which can automatically adjust the degree of coincidence between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve seat to ensure the seal of the valve. At the same time, the structure is easy to maintain, cost-saving, and has good valve interchangeability.

 

3.   The valve wedge sealing surface and seat surface are plated with stellite by plasma spray welding. Thus the sealing surface has high hardness, wear resistance, abrasion resistance and long service life.

 

4.   The valve stem is made of nitriding steel with surface nitride so as to have the performance of high hardness, anti-scratch, corrosion resistance and long service life.

 

5.   Electric actuator is equipped with torque control mechanism, on-site operation mechanism and manual and electric switching mechanism. In addition to local operation, it can also perform remote operation, PLC control, intelligent control of 4 ~ 20mA current input and output.

 

6.   The valve can be installed at any position in the pipeline. At the same time, the carbon steel or alloy steel valve can be selected according to the medium and the temperature of the medium.

 

7.    During the initial installation and commissioning, the valve must be manually opened to about half of the fully opening position, so as to avoid damage to the valve or electrical equipment due to the reversed phase sequence of the motor.
