Cast iron sluice gate structure, benefits,working principle, installation

Structure

The cast iron sluice gate is mainly composed of two parts: the gate frame and the gate. The gate frame of the cast iron gate valve is the supporting member of the gate. The slideway of the gate is installed and fixed by anchor bolts in the second-stage concrete of the sluice pier and the gate bottom plate, so that all the water pressure that the gate bears is safely transmitted Into the lock chamber.

In order to save materials scientifically and rationally and reduce its own weight, the section of the cast iron gate valve is made into a lattice type, and the load on the section size and the operating conditions of the gate are comprehensively considered. The gate is a movable water-retaining member to close and open the orifice. Cast iron frame beams are arranged around the surface of the gate. In order to improve the strength of the gate, the surface of the gate is made into an arch shape, and the central angle of the arch is designed at sixty degrees. To reduce the water pressure on it.

Working principle:

The sealing surface of the ram and the sealing surface of the valve seat are highly smooth, flat and consistent, and processed into a very close and tight sealing pair. The gate plate conducts and shuts off the medium through the upward and downward pressure of the valve stem. It plays a shut-off role in the pipeline.

Benefits:

1. Small fluid resistance;

2. The sealing surface is not eroded when fully opened;

3. It can be used in the case of two-way flow of the medium, without directionality;

3. Strong and durable;

3. Preferred for big diameter valve application.

Installation Precautions

1. Before installing the gate, first check whether the bolts of each connection part are loosened due to transportation and handling. If they are loose, they should be tightened.

2. Check whether the water stop surface on the connection between the main vertical frame and the horizontal frame is misaligned. If it is misaligned, loosen the connecting bolts to adjust the water stop surface in the same plane.

3. When installing the gate, it should be installed as a whole, and the gate frame and gate plate shall not be installed separately to prevent the gate frame from being deformed.

4. Before the second stage of pouring, hoist the gate as a whole and find the correct positions of the front, back, left and right, and then adjust the bolts and weld the steel bars firmly.

5. Before the gate leaves the factory, in order to make the gate and the gate frame fit tighter, and reduce the gap after installation, the gate of more than 2 meters is installed on the upper and lower horizontal frames, and the top is added to the inclined iron of the vertical frame. wire. Note that after adjusting the gap, remove the top wire on the clamping iron and the inclined iron to open and close the gate.

6. When pouring concrete, the mortar flowing into the gap of the gate, gate frame, inclined iron and baffle should be removed to prevent the solidification of the mortar from affecting the opening and closing
